THE KNOCKOUT – Yas Marina Circuit Elimination Stage

Cyclists have a precise time to finish each lap which is reduces after lap 2 as each lap the speed of the lead vehicle increases.

Riders must complete the lap inside the fixed time (between the front car and the follow vehicle) otherwise they are eliminated at the end of laps 2,3,4,5

Only the last 2 laps ( 6&7) are “free”. The winners are the ones cutting the finish line as first, second and third.

The Intermediate Sprint winner is the cyclist who will pass under the finish arch of the second-last lap in first position.

The Junior Sportive will be a 10Km cycle on a modified 2.5Km loop of the northern circuit of Yas Marina Circuit.
