Abu Dhabi, 22 February 2019 – The official footage of the seven-stage UAE Tour inaugural edition will be distributed on the screens of every country of the world, thanks to the coverage granted by 13 TV networks.

The host broadcasters Abu Dhabi Sports Channel and Dubai Sports Channel will offer their home audience in the UAE, and in 24 more territories in the MENA region, the full live coverage of the seven-day event: each stage from the riders’ alignment at the start village to the finish line, with commentary in both Arabic and English languages.

Special live studio shows will be aired from the top riders press conference and team presentation to the daily pre and post-race programs, to bring TV viewers the best insights from the UAE Tour.

For the International Feed, two hours live per stage will be produced.

Eurosport will broadcast live all seven stages, reaching 64 territories between Europe and the Asia Pacific area. European cycling fans will be able to follow the race running through all seven emirates, mainly on Eurosport 2.

Furthermore, in Europe the one and only WorldTour race in the Middle East will be shown live free-to-air on the screens of RAI Sport +HD in Italy and of La Chaîne L’Équipe in France (including DOM-TOM territories), which will enrich the coverage with on-site reports.

SuperSport will provide live coverage of the seven stages to South African cycling fans. The same live service will be provided by Sky Sports in New Zealand and by DAZN in Japan.

ESPN will broadcast the whole UAE Tour live in 40 territories through its channels in Brazil, the Caribbeans and South America, with commentary in Portuguese, English and Spanish respectively. On-site interviews and reports will also be part of the editorial plan.

A double live offer from FloSports and FuboTV will be provided to the North American cycling fans in the USA and Canada. Meanwhile, the Mexican audience will find official race footage on the TDN channel.

To complete the global media coverage, the Olympic Channel will run a highlights magazine on its web platforms with the best sport actions from the whole race – which will air in all remaining countries right across the world. This pioneering worldwide broadcast is thanks to a unique new partnership bringing the Five Olympic Rings brand on board with the Middle East’s only WorldTour race.
